Favorite Music: I have a strange love for classic rock-Led Zepp, Pink Floyd, ELO, etc. Besides that, I am all over the map. I love everything from bluegrass to rap. I also love great worship music. Phillips, Craig and Dean (Let My Words Be Few); Nicole C. Mullen; Switchfoot; (to name a frew). I also love the music that we sing at my church. Great stuff!
I love volunteer work. My most awesome experience was when I volunteered for 3 weeks with the Red Cross after Hurricane Katrina. I was deployed to the Gulf Coast, where I worked as a Lead Case Worker. I saw people who had absolutely nothing but the clothes on their backs, yet they were able to smile. I especially recall one man who was an evacuee. He only had the one t-shirt he was wearing and it said, "Thank you! I'll be here all week." I cracked up when I read it.
That mission was truly a life-changing experience. Very difficult at times, but amazing. I would do it again in a heartbeat. One of the greatest experiences of my life!
